Home is where the heart is…….

Scotland has breathtaking scenery which has been captured by thousands of photographers over recent years. The solitude and beauty that this country can be provide within a 10 mile radius or less from each city, town or village is inspirational. I have extensively travelled around this island nation continually being drawn to water in its many forms, lochs, rivers or the coast are favourite destinations. The islands will always be close to my heart. There is a rhythm to in the land and the communities that live their which soothes your soul. Scotland is familiar territory being my home country and travelling around this stunning country taking photographs is a privilege. Every season brings variety, the weather creates atmosphere. The difficulty occurs when trying to edit your selection because of the vast choice.
