Ice

The magnification of the ice reveals the crystal formations and focuses the viewers’ attention on the encapsulated debris contained within the transparent forms. The frozen water creates large scale bodies of ice which are monumental and can be centuries old. Slow melting ice glistens as it evaporates revealing trapped bubbles of air. Ice has a minimalist appearance which reflects and contains the light.
